Switching devices during a call is now possible with the latest browser and desktop Webphone update, alongside several improvements to audio controls and contact management.
When you're on a one-to-one call and have at least two devices, a new button lets you choose another device to continue the conversation. Your current device will disconnect from the call, which will then appear as an incoming call on the chosen device. The other party stays connected throughout the process.
Audio management is now more convenient, too. You can choose or switch audio devices directly within the call interface.
We've also made it easier to identify and contact people. Phonebook names now appear alongside contacts across the Webphone, including in calls, SMS conversations, call history and voicemail.
Additionally, contacts with an email address now have a quick option to send them an email.
